viaLibri – A resource for Bibliophiles

viaLibri is a search engine for books.

I’ve been looking for some older photographic coffee table books and the viaLibri search engine takes you to many sellers who list conditions and prices of the books they offer.

I found some almost new copies of two of my books this way. I am ordering them for clients. (My stock was depleted years ago.)

viaLibri found four pages of sellers for my books, listing them by the author (the writer), sometimes the person who wrote the forward (Marjory Stoneman Douglas wrote the forward for Over Florida and she often comes up in the searches) or myself.

You can search by keyword, author name, imprint and more. If you love books, this is a fantastic resource for books that are out of print. There is a search manager that you can define by condition and/or price and if you register, viaLibri can continue to search for you for a specific title.

I read about viaLibri in a New York Times piece today.
