Funny thing about Nikon... they just feel right. I shoot mostly Canon 1D 3, but came from Nikon film territory. I have a D2x which I purchased when a couple of my Canons became, shall we say "indisposed", during a shoot. Needing a pro DSLR in a hurray the only thing available was a D2x which now travels with me as a backup camera, in a bomb proof box. I rarely use it, because I'm a full frame kinda guy, but am always amazed at just how comfortable I am with it.... just feels right. And yes I love the files from it as well.
Been looking across the fence again lately at the D3 an x Nikons and maybe, just maybe will head back there again.
