A week of contrasts

On Wednesday, I shot an organic creamery/cheese/ice cream company followed by organic beer with hops grown on the brewery's land.

Yesterday, my assistant and I braved the hordes of tourists congregating in downtown Baltimore to scout locations for an upcoming advertising shoot.

I am loving the Nikons.  They just feel right.  Purchased two of the GP-1 GPS units plus the SU-800 Flash commander.  For the trail shoot, we had a Commander on the D3X plus the GP-1 connected for GPS coordinates.  The Commander works great.  I love being able to control output and sets of the SB strobes from the camera.

The decision to go back to Nikon feels better every day.  Now, if the Nikon Rumors site is correct…a new body is on the way plus new primes.  I hope so.  I’d love to have a fast 28 and a new AF version of the wonderful 35mm f/1.4….say with more blades for smoother out-of-focus backgrounds.
