The Sandpit – incredible little short film of New York City

Read the story about how he did the shooting and post. Well worth it. Time lapse with a Nikon D3 and two lenses. Tilt/Shift effect added in post. Over 30K in frames shot.

  1. Hey Cameron,
Are you familiar with Keith Loutit? IMHO he’s the master of this time lapse / tilt shift technique…unbelievably beautiful videos on Vimeo…http://vimeo.com/keithloutit

Thanks Steve. I was not aware of him. I will check it out. For tilt/shift aerials the master who has shot this technique since the late eighties is Oliverio Barberio, an Italian photographer. His work is miles ahead of any one else. Really quite stunning.
