Read the story about how he did the shooting and post. Well worth it. Time lapse with a Nikon D3 and two lenses. Tilt/Shift effect added in post. Over 30K in frames shot.

Thanks Steve. I was not aware of him. I will check it out. For tilt/shift aerials the master who has shot this technique since the late eighties is Oliverio Barberio, an Italian photographer. His work is miles ahead of any one else. Really quite stunning.
