Those are some fantastic mosquito control photos. I'm working on a not-for-profit picture book of Mosquito Control Aircraft, having worked as a mosquito control pilot for over 25 years. Some early images can be seen here http://on.fb.me/Am8my0
All the best and congratulations on your accomplishments.

I am proud to know Nadene Brunk, a teacher & volunteer who has been to Haiti several times & is probably there now to teach women how to be midwives. Dr. Brunk was my doctor here in Hanover at the VA Women's Center and retired at the end of Dec 2011 to devote herself fulltime to this volunteer project. Maybe you met her - I hope so. She is a blessing. There was a half hour video I saw last yr on PBS about this project. Your involvement is to be commended. Hope to see more of your excellent photography on this and other subjects. Thank you for posting your images to this blog. Dianne
PS regarding film vs digital - my heart remains with film - slides & was so sad Kodak stopped making Kodachrome 25.

I spent 30 some years as a commercial pilot flying mostly throughout the Mid Atlantic and North East. So I flew over the Chesapeake hundreds and hundreds of times and had the chances to see it from the air in all possible weather and light. What a fantastic place?
From what I see of your new book it seems you have captured it pretty darned good.

I have an aerial photo business now in Northern California and do the flying and photography both myself.

Cameron,
It was good to hear you on the Kojo Nhamdi show. Thank you for the special Christmas price on your book. I am a former ASMP Nation's Capital member and remember you from the meetings and seminars. Glad to know that you are still creating your beautiful images.

Dear Cam,
It's great to see how you have made such a well-deserved reputation for yourself.
I am slowing down some- I'm 68 now and feel very fortunate to have reached this age where I can slow down some: partly due to the business cycle, partly due to some shoulder and back conditions that most older photographers deal with. Nothing serious, but our various body parts have a way of reminding us of our mortality.

I tried to e-mail you my congratulations after seeing some of your work in PDN (I believe), but could not locate your e-mail.

Anyway, I hope things continue for you. It's great to see.

Best wishes,
John Whitman

CD,

Was Wayne gonna let you have strings too?
FYI, surrounding yourself (literally, in this picture) with ultra-talented people like Wayne & Gerald is yet another instance where you've followed John Schneeberger's sage advice. This picture demonstrates what that's brought you!
Great picture of you three friends too.

I count myself fortunate to have been your good friend for so many (over 25, now) years!
