I shoot aerials. I shoot people. I've shot around the world: Aerials of landscapes for advertising campaigns, natural gas platforms for annual reports and weather disasters for magazine stories are just a few of the subjects I have photographed from the air. When not harnessed into the back of a turbine helicopter, I photograph real people on location for a healthy mix of ad, annual report and editorial clients. I am a pilot but never fly myself for my aerial work. Virginia is my home. I share my house with Marlita, a gigantic Catahoula Leopard Dog whose goal in life is to harrass but never catch the squirrels in my backyard. I shoot with the Canon 1Ds Mark III and Medium Format Digital. I have a fondness for Leica M cameras, Rollei TLR's and an ancient Crown Graphic. I am on the board of a group whose focus is to help the people in a small Haitian community. I usually travel to Haiti at least once a year. I like pre-TAG Heur watches and even older Omegas. Five books of my photography have been published with another two on the way. Three international airports are within an hours drive of my home. Give me a call: 703-845-0547
