As a location and aerial photographer, I've learned the importance of planning for every possibility in a shoot.
With a worldwide network of film industry helicopter pilots that fly for the camera, I also shoot aerials via drones or even a 25 foot tripod if needed. I hold a FAA 107 drone certificate, North Carolina Commercial Operator Certificate and a Private Pilot certificate with full liability, drone and workman's comp insurance.
It is all about working as a team: planning, executing and being ready to embrace the rare gift of grace: beautiful light, incredible talent and those fleeting moments that tell the story.
I am a lucky man: a wonderful wife who is much smarter than me, two Maine Coon Cats who think that they are dogs, six books published, clients that trust me and a U.S. Postage stamp to boot.
