Newfoundland
All my life I've been drawn to Canada.
One of my Great-Grandfathers immigrated from Scotland to Alberta as a 15 year old. Family lore is he tried to join the RCMP when he was 16.
As a kid in Michigan, there were frequent trips to Ontario and it always felt comfortable and a home-away-from home.
In May of 2016, I headed north for a week of wandering across Newfoundland and hopefully catching sight of a few icebergs.
It was my second trip to Newfoundland and Labrador. On this trip, I explored the coastline near Twillingate-Crows Head all the way down the Cape Chance Lighthouse near the southeastern edge of the island.
